These are the missionaries that were serving in parts of France and Luxembourg. Silvia is the one at the front...so this picture must of been taken when she was serving in Luxembourg. Her mission Pres. posted this picture in his blog. I know that she had mentioned that the Elders had to take her and her companion in their car to Luxembourg because there was a strike in Geneva and public transportation wasn't availble. It was only a 5-6 hour drive...so I guess it wasn't that bad. I remember when I was first transfered when I was serving in Spain, I was stuck in the train for 12 hours!...Crazy, huh? :) As you already know, Silvia's back in Geneva and thinks she will finish her mission there. She was supposed to come home on May 1st but she decided to stay an extra week. I guess an elderly lady who is a recent convert, babtized a year ago, is getting ready to go to the Temple but has no family to go with her. Silvia asked her Mission Pres. if she could go with her and that meant that she'd have to stay there for an extra week. So....as far as we know...her return date for now is May 7th. I'll let you know if anything changes....and that's nice of her to stay there to go to the Temple with the new member! :)
